Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to create a custom material using a raster image? I have tried to find a place to upload an image into the material editor area, but no luck... Thanks, Laney

Hi, what do you mean with "Create a Custom Material" ??? you can create a material by using a "Raster Image"...

What I mean is that I have a jpg. image that I would like to turn into a material to apply to a surface. The image is not an photo of a material, it is an actual graphic image.

If so, in your settings>material duplicate one (default) then go to render appearence and change your "color" by "Image file", browse where the image are (JPG) and select it, then change the parameters you want, done.
