The material color I assigned to the walls and chairs shows up in color shading with edges. Why do my walls and chairs turn gray when I render?

Hi sunshineeyes, if I understand correctly what you want, you´re attempting to do a render but you are not really assigning material to the wall(s), only changing the colors to your shading graphics (see images). About the chairs, make sure that you are not using previous family versions (that´s why they could be rendering gray).

Hi erland73,

Thanks for replying. I feel kind of embarrassed. I had a special wall finish that I attached to the walls. I thought that I waited to attach it until I saved it on the computer but it turns out that I assigned it with a path to a flash drive so since the flash drive wasn't in the computer when I went to render ....it couldn't find the path. As for the chairs changing all the color settings instead of just assigning the primary color resolved the issue. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
