Hello everyone. I am using REVIT 2009 and did a couple of renderings of an interior space with just artificial light on only. I did them both as medium quality. Previous to this, I did a couple of low quality renderings of the same space, but only rendered a region to check and see if the materials I was using were going to show up correctly. Anyway, with the two medium renderings of the entire interior view, I can't export them out of the project and I can't save them to the project either. When the renderings are done, I hit the "Save to Project" button and nothing happens. I hit the "Export..." button and it takes me to the dialog box and askes me where I want to save it and I tell it and it makes it seem like it's saving, but when I go open that folder, it isn't there. What is happening? Can anybody help me? With the two low quality, region renderings I did, I was able to export them, but since then I have done two medium full room renderings and I have not been able to save either of them. Thanks in advance.

I don't like to save renderings to the project - it really takes up file space. If you do save to file, the view is saved under a rendering tab in your browser. Try exporting first instead of capture. If you want to save after you have captured, click on the view then under file, choose the export image ... make sure you set your path and pick the view you want to export.

Exactly. I figured the rendering would take up a lot of space in the project, so I usually Export the rendering out. But, like I said, it is not letting me. That is why I attempted to save it to the project. However, after hitting the save to project button, nothing happens. I go to the project browser under renderings and it is not there. If I hit the export button, like I said, it asks me where I want to save it, and I do that, but it isn't where I tell it to go. It never shows up. Just as a test, I took another project and did an exterior rendering in medium quality which took about 20 minutes and exported that to the same folder and that one showed up. It seems to just be an issue with the one project, with the interior view, and with the full rendering instead of just a region. I may try yet another rendering in the same file and see if I can't get something to work. Anybody else have any other ideas? Thanks

OK, I just tried another rendering of the same view, but instead of the settings being Medium and printer 300 DPI; I used Low and printer 150 DPI. This time I was able to export it with no problems. Is there a size issue that I am having? I am trying to set up a few renderings and ultimately, these will be going on a website, but it would be nice if they were higher quality just in case we want to print them out for presentation boards and things like that. Thats the latest. Thanks again.
