I've been using revit for several years now, and i've always wondered why the heck elevation tags can't look like section tags, which is what the standard is for ALL OF THE OFFICES I'VE WORKED IN. I've done everything, researched everywhere, and it just doesn't seem possible. the only "workaround" (which i HATE to do in Revit, it should be possible to do something as easy as change the way elevation tags look) is to actually use section markers with their tails clipped off as elevation markers. The problem with this is that the sections then show up in several other views, as sections markers in revit are intended to do. It works great if it's actually a section you're trying to reference in multiple spaces, but not an elevation marker. *sigh*. Am i missing something???

I agree. I was hoping that the new release of 2010 would fix this, because we use the same tag for section heads as we do for elevations... We have only been using Revit for a year, so we are still trying to get used to it. Please fix this in the new release! Or at least make the elevation tags a customizable family!!!
