I'm stuck on how to accomplish the wood truss framing in an overbuild area- the triangle shaped area in the pic. I've been using the standard Howe Flat Truss and attaching top chord to the roof which works great in the typical areas but gives me the following errors in the overbuild and in the very short corners: Revit can not attach to the chosen Roof/Slab. The truss can not project to a surface or the attachment creates an invalid profile. -and- The current transformation of this specific truss layout will some sub members to overlap. I imagine the web members can't be created due to the reduced height/length of the truss. Is there a quick way to place the overbuild members on top of the lower roof? Then attach top chord?
