I created a 3D view for my project. I want to make a edge between two walls invisible with the linework tool. But the linework tool makes the entire edge invisible and not just the part where the two walls connect. Is it possible to make just a part of an edge invisible?

Did you try when you use the linework tool, drag those blue dots where you want???

Thanks. This helps in normal 3D views. But it doesn't work in 3D views with perspective (camera). Is there a work around to do this in perspective views?

You can use the 'join geometry' tool for this.

That was the first thing i tried, before using the linework tool.

The edge between the walls stays even after using join geometry. I don't know why. Maybe because i had to use two different types of walls. But the outer layer has the same material and thickness for both.

Try the "Trim/Extend" tool...

Are you sure that they're in exactly the same plane?  If neccesary, move the wall away a bit and use the align tool to line them up.

The trim/extend tool isn't available in 3D perspectives.

The walls are in the same plane, i checked it again just to be sure.

I think the edit profile i used on one of the walls was the reason why they didn't join geometry. I changed the profile again and now it worked.

 Thanks for quick replies.
