hey all ok, so firstly, here's the image of my problem: http://i40.tinypic.com/2zemjjd.jpg ok, so what i'm trying to do is move the "centreline" of the roof (the blue arrow) to line up with the internal partition (the green arrow). As you can see, the pitch on the left is at 45degrees and the other is 30degrees. I'm kinda new to revit, we only started it in college this semester, and i've a project due in about a week. Fortunately, if i can get this house done, it's a copy and paste job any help is greatly appreciated tm

So, create a Ref. plane in the center of the wall, then in that elevation view pick in the roof and pick in "Move", select the basepoint in the end of the roof to the ref. plane....

i tried that, but when i moved it, the over hang was WAY too big on one side, and almost nothing on the other, so when i went modify > overhang (or move the lines) it went back to the way it was. i also tried attaching the walls, to create a constraint, but i had the same result.

I think the problem is that, you have the walls constrain to the roof, detach the roof for every thing, then try to move it, after this you can attach again the walls to the roof.... By the way, that roof is "By footprint or by Extrusion"????

If you edit the roof are the slope defining lines at the correct angle?

ok, i'll try to put in as much info as possible. it's done by footprint > pick walls (so i can do the overhang) when i go into edit, both angles are correct. I also tried doing it by footprint > lines and i got the same problem, even when the walls weren't attached.
