I am using an RHS structural purlin and need to rotate it along its length to the roof pich.
I have tried rotate in section and nothing happens. Does anyone have the answer.

You cannot rotate beams... If its an RHS couldn't you just swap the depth and width parameters around which would essentially be rotating the beam?
