Revit 2009 Archtecture

I am trying to render an external view and all is great except I have no sky just a grey, I'm looking for the clouds,

I have set the render to few clouds and tried everything between, I have been using revit from revit 9

I suspect it is that the sky files are not being accesed???

Try to change the position of your camera, put the camera looking bottom to top and render with the same settings before....

Yes

That is the simple answer.

I was thinking that the background was like you would have in photoshop or revit 2008 like a background sheet. but as soon as I lowered the camera angle , hello hello the sky fell into position.   thanks for your help.   I did look thru a lot of forum answers before I posted but there didn't seem to be the same problem there.

It does seem though a lot of users are having small problems with 2009 rendering.   hopefully in future versions they will make it more easier for designers to understand and use, lets face it we are desigers first and computer/software specialist next, but we are still learning day by day.

thank again Alan
