I am working on inputting an existing Sanctuary that was built using wood laminated arches and purlins. I have successfully got the laminated arches in place, but I am trying to place the wood roof purlins on the slope of the laminated beam. I created a reference plane that matches the slope, but when I go to rotate the beam it will not allow me to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions or a better way of doing what I am trying to accomplish? I have attached files to illustate what I talking about.
