I'm needing to show a thickend slab over a foundation bearing wall for a slab on grade. I've tried modeling 2 slabs with slab edges and joining the edges but i can't get it to work. Is there another work around to make this happen? i have a 5" slab and it needs to thicken to 7-1/4" over the 8" foundation wall and tapper at a 1/10 slope back to the bottom of the 5" slab.

You can use a floor edge sweep.

I can't seem to select the model line to add the slab edge. Selecting the edge of the slab worked great. I attached a drawing showing where i'm trying to add the thickend slab. I've not worked with Revit very long. I'm sure this is a simple task i just haven't figured it out yet.

You can do one of the following: 1. Cut the slab at the wall where you need the slab edge, so you have an edge to grab. You are left with two slabs that share an edge. Add the slab edge as needed and join the two slabs. I did not check to see if there would be an issue joining the slabs) 2. Create a solid extrusion that represents the thickened slab at that wall and join it to the slab. HTH

I have a thickend slab 20'x20'x20' concrete cube. I want to cut it in half in Elevation view to create two separate 90 degree triangles that are on top of eachother? Having these two triangles to be overlaping each other and be two separate objects. Or can I draw to separate Concrete triangles in Elevation view and place them on top of eachother to create a cube having them be two different objects? But I dont want to join geometry. This is easy to do in Plan view but that is not the way I want to view the shape!

It sounds like you just want to create two solid forms (extruded triangles). From your description, it sounds like that might be your best bet.

LIZARD2806 - Yes, I am. I tryed doing that by Modeling, Create, click on Site and I named it once I did that, I click on Solid Form- Solid Extrusion. I drew my two triangles filled in all my detail info that I need...Click finish Sketch and it works... The problem I am having is it doesn't give it a property name in the scroll down bar, like if it was a Wall, Concrete Slab, Window etc... I need it to know that its an object.

Which scroll down bar? Also, it might help if I knew what you were making...maybe a picture?
