I would like to create a Room Tag with a Label that gets its data from a Calculated Value in a Room Schedule. We need to display the Occupancy Load for each space on our Floor Plans. I have been able to calculate the value by dividing the Room Area by the Occupancy Load Factor (which is a SF value from code books). This information is easy enough to show in schedule but I have yet to be able to link the label in my Room Tag to it. I would appreciate any help or workaround.

The same way that the room area is shown is the same way that you will show the Occupancy Load. When you open up the room tag you will need to create a new label and that new label should be attached to the parameter that you created. most likely you will need to make the parameter a sharred parameter so that it can be used in the schedule and in the tag.

Any luck on this Jonojnr or anyone? I can't figure out how to make a formula in a shared parameter (area/room occupancy). Any ideas?

Are you asking the original question again? There is no way for a room tag to read information in a schedule.

That's what I thought. It just sounded like afc4 had found a solution. too bad, maybe in future versions

i understand you cannot reference something calculated in a schedule into a tag label, but i was thinking about it this way:i have a parametric room tag that has the rooms occupancy (B), total square footage (1,261), and occupancy load factor (100 from the code book). in the schedule i have a calculated value set up to divide 1261 by 100 for total number of occupants. instead of referencing that, i want to make a new calculated value in the tag. The end result is the same, but this is a workaround that doesn't seem to be possible, or at least i can't figure it out.

I'd rather be riding at whistler. or highland. thats good too.
