i dont think that you can. The only thing i can think of is to use a wall( made to look like a fence) and change the profile to match the slope. You could also use a railing but it doesnt see the site as an object it can host to.

Well, the simple way it's like AFC4 says, it's quick and simple but if you want that in 3D use Curtain Wall....

Yeah AFC4, that's what i said, that is the quick and simple way to do this, create a thin wall with the image like Erland post (for example) and in the properties of the material, in the "Bump" you can apply the "Mask" (alpha channel) or you can also use a material with the "Cut-Out".... BUT if he/she want that in 3D, well I use curtain wall to do that.... that's my modest opinion...

"so then what do you mean by "but if you want that in 3D use Curtain Wall...." - Well, if I Need to create a (for example) a "Section View", if i use a simple wall i only gona see the "panel" I can't see the details in that, then i must use "Filled Regions" and so one to do that, if I use the curtain wall I have that detail at once, i hope you understand my bad english... LOL
