Hello, I want to know if it's possible to create an automatic box around a text. So this jumps out of the drawing more than a usual text. Now I just draw detail lines but when i adjust the text I need to redraw or change the lines. Thanks in advance for a solution. Gr. Frank

I just want to know how to turn the cursed thing off. It seems totally unnecessary as well as distracting. I'm an old draftsman, if it doesn't mean anything it shouldn't be on the drawing at all.

I'm having trouble with these "boxes" showing up during our publishing cycle. These boxes don't appear on screen, and I couldn't find a toggle to turn on/off so I'm stumped as to why it shows up when plotting. It almost makes me think that that they are "shadow images." I have the text settings set at 'Opaque' so that you don't get drafting lines going through text.

Could this be a Windows plotter driver problem?

It sounds like it's the masking region limits for opaque text. I think it's a driver problem. If you can't fix that ... try printing to a PDF then plotting the PDF.

Wierd thing is, not everyone is having this same issue. That makes me think that this is probably a local printer issue; I just haven't had time to prove it yet.

I am having the same issue. altho the weird thing is that my first plot is fine but my subsequent plots have boxes around the arial text. this also only happens for the 11x17 print size. this is very annoying and the only solution i have come up with is opening each sheet and printing them one at a time.
