I"m trying to create a titleblock from one of our Architects to use in Revit. CryingThey don't use Revit)

They have a logo which they have drawn with lines and has a solid fill.  When i import the solid fill is gone. How do i replace it?

Hi, I don't have here Revit and I don't remember if in the "Titleblock Family" there are the "Filled Region".... you can mask that zone with that...

Titleblock does have the 'Filled Region' however, the Logo has some small radius corners and when i try to sketch it tells me there to small.  Was hoping for another option.

To clarify, you can import the solid filled pattern ( there should be no problem with this), but you cannot get the radius to the corners small enough?  One way that I have managed to do small radii is to draw it bigger then resize it to the required radius.

Create your logo in CAD and make a jpeg - import that into your titleblock.  Revit doesn't car how small lines are when they are not lines but dots per inch.....

I ended up creating my logo as a separate block within the autocad drawing.  Then when in imported it into Revit i did a partical explode. Everything worked as i had hoped............Then.......... the titleblock had some lines on a defpoint layer in cad used as a reference for drawing extents..........in removed them and replaced them as reference lines in Revit.......and assigned the cad line work different line weights in Revit to match up with the cad plot output.   it all looks great in the titleblock drawing.  When i load it into a drawing my reference do not show and the titleblock line weights are gone.   i checked the 'thin line' command all is well.  the reference lines are checked like they should be displaying but their not.  What am i missing?

If you must explode an autocad drawing .... please - please - please clean it up!  Every layer in autocad is converted to a new linetype in revit.  That may be ok for you or in a family but when you do that in a model, it just clogs up the works.

You can control the lineweights of imports in families under vg.  But instead, I suggest you convert them all to revit standard linetypes and delete the autocad ones.

Reference lines in families do not show up in the model.  Invisible lines will when you roll-over an element.
