has anyone had a problem with objects in 3d being black? they look good in a 3D View but not in regular 3D. they render fine but i cant add textures to misc. spots because i cant see them. Everything that is linked to the drawings also look good but as soon as i draw something in the model itself its black.

Can you attach a screenshot of the problem? It may just be the density of the surface pattern.
