I have been trying to create a 1 1/2" metal deck roof so when I cut a section I can see the roof profile. I have tried the following link w/o success http://revitfamilies.blogspot.com/ I created the profile using the profile template, then started the new family with the Structural Framing - Beams and Braces.rft. The profile is loaded, and I deleted the solid. What am I supposed to draw with the sweep tool? Is there anything specific I have to do to orient the profile when I load it? This is crucial to the architect to be able to see roof profile when they link our model to theirs thanks for the help bluedog

Thanks for the reply, but that is the link I was referencing. I think I need to get a clue on sweeps.

I have a workaround, just use a floor family instead of a roof.

Hi "Bluedog1", I did several videos about this same question a few months ago, if you search you can find it... Use the Roof>Sloped Glazing system and it work fine....
