What is revits best way to enter amendments to a chronological list. I want to show the issue by Letter and any clouded revisions by number. I know revit has numbered history of revisions but can I insert an Issue Letter into the list. e.g. Issue A reivision 1, 2, 3 etc then Issue B revision 1,2 etc.

Currently letters are not an option. It is a wishlist item. I also require this ability.

not sure if this will help everyone with chronological issue lists, but i have managed to create legends that i can place on all sheets. i am using it to only have a list of A, B, C, etc showing dates and type of issue, eg sketch design, prelim working drawings etc. the legend can be dragged and dropped onto each sheet, but cannot be copy/pasted. i was told after doing this that legends are like other views, and cannot be placed on more than one sheet. being a beginner, i was not aware of this and assumed 'legend' meant a traditional list on all drawings, so just did it. have i cheated revit somehow? this method is not automatic like project parameters or revisions, but at least it can be edited just the once, and so updates on all sheets. hope that helps!

slight amendment to my comment - being a beginner, i did not realise that placing an issue legend on a sheet, also makes the scale parameter change! in my case, this is ok, as the title block registers 'as indicated', when multiple scale viewports are loaded, and each view has a scale note anyway. just thought i'd warn others before you merrily go placing these things on sheets.
