alright, so i've been looking all over for an answer to this, and the head revit guy in my company is having the same problem with no fix as well. take a look at the way these roof fascia sweeps mitre at the corner of the gable end of the roof on the attached image. basically what i need to happen is have the two join correctly and also, so that the left side in the picture has a flat soffit, there needs to be a little triangle sliver where you can see the piece jutting out underneath the gable end attached to the fascia pitching up the gable end. thanks for any help out there. RAC 2009

Draw the eave and gable fascia in one operation and they will mitre correctly. You need to model the triangular piece separately, as it would be done in real life. Alternatively, model the whole gable fascia as a single piece.
