I have several users that receive a DDE Server Window: Revit.exe - Application Error when they exit Revit. Has anybody else encountered this, found a fix for this, or do we just have to live with this? I'm pretty sure that it is not a Revit error per say, but more related to Windows and Microsoft. If anybody can shed some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Regards

Are they shutting down revit without waiting for Revit to finish their save?

Yes, last time I made sure to look over their shoulder as they were closing down. It's a random error, it does not happen all the time. Have you seen this error when a user does not wait until complete shutdown?

Let me guess....you are using Vista. I have encountered this on one or two of our Vista computers. No reasonable explanation as of yet. Sorry.

I've had the same problem for the past 2 weeks. Our IT guy is sure it's not a virus, but he hasn't found an explanation. I'm also using Win XP on a HP Quad XW4600 with 3GBRam.
