if i open a new project to the default template and hit the wall tool and drag a wall- the temporary blue dimension number is almost too small for me to read.. is there any way to change that?

I saw the same question in a thread but I don't know if it was here in RevitCity, but I think you must edit the "Revit.Ini" file and change the value wich control that "temporary Dimension".... try to search here in the forum....

thanks coreed- i found the revit clinic on temporary dimension text size. 12 is most recommended instead of the default 8.. what a pleasent relief to actually see those blue numbers clearly..

there must be a good reason why the revit program designers chose to keep the temporary dimension text size small.. i put it on 10 just to play it safe.. 10 is also quite readable..

Does anyone know a fix for Revit Architecture 2010. The .ini does not have that line in it (TempDimFontSizeInPoints=N). Thanks

" there must be a good reason why the revit program designers chose to keep the temporary dimension text size small.. i put it on 10 just to play it safe.. 10 is also quite readable.. " I think it is because they are all younger with 20/20 vision. The need to get some feed back from those of us in our 50's with multi-focal lenses! I need the large type edition of Revit now!

This solution works great, except that now, when I place a wall, door or window, the listening dimensions do not show any text ... Can anyone advise on what I can do to correct this? Ian
