OK I am getting really frustrated with Revit (2009). I am transfering our sheet specs from AutoCAD over to the template file. I have four columns on my sheet that go from top to bottom. I understand that there is no formatting such you have with MText. I can live with the text being about 5 version back of AutoCAD. I can live with the hard tabs to get index formatting. But what is driving me nuts is the text going out side of the text box. I go and stretch the text box so they are not overlapping and then in jumps back in. I have no idea what causes it to creep out side of the box or how to get it back in. If anyone has anything that can shed some light on this issue so that I don't scrap Revit alltogether and go back to a parrallel bar and triangle.

If you are importing from AutoCAD then in AutoCAD change your text to a True Type Font and do your formating in AutoCAD. Then when you import to Revit, Revit shoudl reconize that text type as TTF nd keep formatting. I hope this helps.

I actually copied the everything from AutoCAD into a WORD document and copy clipped the text into a text box in Revit. So everything is already True Type Font. Like I said I can work with the formatting limitations it is the jumping back and forth of the text box that is driving me nuts.
