HI Can anyone tell the quickest and simplest way to create views similar to the attached image..it doesnt have to be in rendered form, just the a 3d window that I can see whilst working in a tiled window many thanks...

just turn on the section box in your 3d view and use the grips to cut away the part of the model you do not want to see. check your Help under Section Box. in the view you posted if it is a house you could also just hide the roof or turn off that category hth

The only thing with the section box that is different than the picture shown is that everything will be cut flat...the walls will not show the gable. I would just go to visibility graphics and shut off roofs and ceilings and you should get the same effect, but rather than cutting you will still see your wall profiles.
