I'm having a problem with filled regions hiding families in Revit Architecture 2009. I have clicked on the button to send the filled regions to the back, but the families stay hidden. Is there a way to send the filled region to the back/bring the families to the front or another way to show a hatched area (eg using hatching to show the extents of a building or the extent of the paved/landscaped areas on site plans)?? Cheers

You cannot send filled regions to the back of model objects, but you can make the background transparant. See image. For site plans, you can use the tools in Revit to show paved areas ect (topography, floors) rather than drafting them on as you would in cad. You won't have this problem then.
