I received the survey (dwg file) from our consultant, when i import it into revit all the utility lines do not show correctly (it just shows a solid line for each utility).

Is there a way to fix that? Does revit recognize autocad line types?

 Thanks

You should be using your HELP for some of this.  Linetypes are fully explained there.  In addition, you can search the forums for discussions on linetpes with imbedded letters. Also look here http://revitbeginners.blogspot.com/2006/09/utility-lines-workaround.html

jgmas,

I just uploaded this "line" family a few days ago. Please try it and let me know how it works for you.
