I'm curious if there's a way you can freeze certain elements in the linked revit file? (Similar to freezing a layer in the Xref in AutoCAD.) Thanks in advance.

You can edit the visibleity options of linked revit files. You can not do anything to Imported AutoCad files. Go to the links under the Graphics override adn change to a custom setting then you can change what you want to see in the linked file

It works, thanks. But I guess my next question is: Let's say there are 3 floor slabs are in the linked Revit file. I just want to have one of the floors frozen, but the other 2 visible. Is there a way to do that? Seems like the Visibility/Graphics override only applies everything of that particular element, but not within the element. Thanks in advance.

" You can not do anything to Imported AutoCad files " Sorry, but this is not truth, you can manage visibily settings of imported autocad files, in the imported objects, imports in families, you should find the file layers...
