I am working on a small renovation project in Revit 9 and am having issues with my sections. Whenever I make a section the ground floor level is always named "Ground Floor RCP" instead of Ground Floor Plan. Does anybody know why it is calling out my rcp as the ground floor and not the actual floor plan. I have made sure that it wasn't hidden and made sure that it wasn't hidden behind the crop region. I don't know what else to try. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This usually happens when you rename a view or level. A prompt will appear asking if you want to rename corresponding levels or corresponding views (depends on which you are renaming). If you click "yes" then the level will be named whatever you named the view and vice versa. Typically, in elevation I name all the levels whatever makes the most sense to me, ie. Level 1, Level 2, Top of Wall, etc. The plan views will take their names from the levels, so I then go and rename the plans whatever I want, ie. Ground Floor Plan, Ground Floor RCP, Roof Plan, etc. Remember to click "no" when it asks if you want to rename levels along with the plan views. Floor plans and RCP's are associated/attached with a specific level. They are not "the level." The solution for you will be to cut a section, rename the levels whatever you want them to be named, and name your views independently of those level names. Make sense?
