I am working on a site with multiple buildings. Each building should have a different grid system. Revit won't let you name two grids the same- how do I get around this? I was going to split the buidings up in to different Revit files, but they all need to be on the same site plan, the sheets are already set up, and I have been using the worksharing capabilities, so it's a central file. If I could just re-name the grids how I want, I won't have to worry about this. Help!

I would recomend having a Revit file for each of your buildings anyway. You can then link them into one master file. This will make your file sizes much more manageable. I understand that you already have sheets up, but this is really the only way. By linking in all of them into one master file you will be able to have them on one site plan.
