I have created a custom roof fascia that seems to work fine but now want to add a ribbed detail along the face of it. I can not seem to figure out an efficient way to accomplish this. (SEE ATTACHED IMAGE) I have been using a create-in-place family & cutting reference planes for each face. That works ok except there are a lot of separate faces so it is taking a bit longer than I expected. I would assume that there is a better way to do this. I would just use a repeating detail except I need to see this ribbing with shadows in my perspective views. Any help would be appreciated.

Option 1: Create the real thing just on the areas that needs the rendering. Use repeating detail everywhere else. Option 2: Create a separate face-based family of the rib, add to project, and array.
