so... I've turned on my daylight portals and set my rendering to "sun only" and my image is black.

 Revit 2009 (someone once posted a "service pack" to download for '09, but the link doesn't work)

 

any help?!

I would first check the Exposure setting in the rendering dialog. The default tends to be dark, and could be completely black when rendering indoor with only artificial light through daylight portals.

Hi beccabecca11, I think your problem is not about service packs. Take a look at this tutorial, these guys have just started with this blog and they are doing a good work on this....http://therevitkid.blogspot.com/2009/02/rendering-interior-scene-with-sun-only.html, but about the service pack, I tried with the link I posted a few months ago and it works....here it is.......http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=14207....
