Ok- I have what i think is a complex roof that when all pieces have been joined together failed to clean up perfectly. I want to hide some of the lines at the joined areas. When i complete the masking region, the region disappears and nothing is masked. I used the same technique in elevation and was successful. Any ideas?

You can use the linework tool to hide the lines.
