I would like to associate the symbol annotation for an object such as a thermostat with the floor plane by default so it will display when you set the height above the cut plane. Anyone have any ideas?

If any part of your component extends below the cut line then it will display. You can edit your component and insert a vertical invisible vertical line to extend below the cut line.

Good idea! I would prefer to associate the symbol with the floor plane but if that works. Thanks Tim

No trouble. Even if it was associated with the floor plan it would not display if it was all above the cut plane.
