Around the trees???? if so, create the shape you want around those trees and use the right texture...

Thanks I kinda knew that, I guess I probably want to clear on my question sorry. I was looking more for some help on what the right texture is. I have done it before and it looks nice from a far but i wasnt alll that pleased with the look when the rendering is up close on that area.

I just split my topo surface (not normal spit-face command - tool is in the site tab) then I just assign a different surface finish - mulch - to that area in its properties.....

I don't know, try to find out the "Perfect" image for that... and/or you can try to create various massings objects to do that...
