So I have my curtain wall, I am trying to attach a sun shading device that i made from a profile. However, sweeps dont want to stick to curtain walls for some reason. Any ideas? I have to install some kind of sunshading device on the wall. just wondering what i can do to make this work?

If you have a wall above, that can host your sweep ... may have to mess with your profile origin to make sure it resides on the wall.  You can also do a family in place ... or even outside the project.

The sunshade above the curtain wall in hosted to the wall above. What im having difficulty with is attaching one to the curtain wall portion of the cylinder. It doesnt want to host to it. Is there a work around or maybe a different family i can use that will attach to a curtain wall?

You just want a sun shade lower than the one you have right?   My answer still applies!
