Hi all,

Please check the following point,

I am using Revit mep 2008 version and the Plumbing file is having a size of 22 MB. When i use split tool the file is getting closed with out any indication. Is there any solution for this?

Please let me know.

File size is not your problem.

 

There is really not enough information in your question to be able to answer it.  What are you splitting?

 

Have you got the latest build of REVIT?

Have you maintained your file and audited it?

if you are still on 08, you should make sure you have the latest web update like WWhub has recommended. the piping in 08 sucks, 09 better and the previews of 2010 are even better. i am assuming you are trying to split piping. there is a glitch in the software there. try and audit it may help for a little while.

Sorry Hub, for not proving the enough information in the Question Eddieboarder Guessing was correct. I am trying to splitt the pipes and ducts for giving the elbow connections. I am using the Revit 2008 version. Was this with software problem?More over this problem is coming only with Plumbing and in HVAC disciplines.
