K so how do i create a railing that is sloped like that of a railing on a stair but without the stairs?

Do you have a sloping floor? Railings are hosted and they can assume the slope of their host.

No i just have block stairs. Is the only way to get a railing to slope is to host to a sloped floor then hide it?

Or stairs ... or in-place family - or outside family .... but you said you didn't have any stairs. What do you mean -Block stairs?
