I have imported my Sketchup model into Revit, and it is one block. I have heard you can then make the walls, floors and roof by selecting by face, however when I hover over the skectchup block there is no option to select those faces, where am i going wrong?

What I so is import the sketchup file into a Mass family. Then place the family in my project and then I can pick the faces and convert them to walls, Roofs, and floors.

robinballew is correct. unless you import your sketchup model into a mass, Revit has no idea what to do with the model in terms of using it to drive building components. HTH
