When linking one rvt file to another we are only able to bring in half the structures (there are four in each). We've tried linking files in both directions as well as a third file, made certain we are selecting the appropriate worksets and vg settings are correct, but haven't been able to get all eight structures to show up together. We question if there are limits set on file size (our files are 50 & 70 megs - purged) or number of active worksets? Any insight would be helpful. Kurt

Sounds a bit odd. I've never experienced problems with geometry not showing when linked into another file, and files sizes have been fairly similar. You mention you made sure you are selecting the appropriate worksets? I assume this means you are only importing selected worksets. I've never actually needed to this and have always just imported the whole model. Does link the whole model work appropriately?

We are experiencing a similar problem. The parent file is only about 45 megs and the child file is a mere 20 megs. The original import works fine as do any copies (except that the walls of the linked file do not clean up with the walls of the parent file). But when we mirror the linked file, the walls of the linked file disappear in the plan view. It is only the mirrored files where this occurs and the original and any copies still display correctly - even within the same view. Any ideas?
