I'm trying to print a sheet in Revit Architecture 2009.  The only item visible in the sheet is an linked DWG of the site survey and for some reason it is printing at a terrible resolution as both PDFs and as hard copy.

I have attached a sample of the PDF output - the resolution seems to also vary for different parts of the sheet - it's very odd!

Has anyone else come up against something like this and could suggest something to try?  I would be grateful for any assistance.

Cheers,  Peter

Can you post the DWG if it is not too big?

Hey Tim,

Thanks for your interest and your reply.  I've attached the .dwg in question.  The original is in meters while the Revit file is in millimeters - although I couldn't see how that would make a difference.

I'd be very interested in any help with this.

Regards,

Pete

I imported your drawing into a revit file (using meters for the linked file).  When I used Auto detect for import units it came in at the wrong scale, which you would expect.

I then changed the line type to black and thin lines ot the DWG.  It appears the way that I would expect it to.  Perhaps it was the import scale - have you checked some site dimensions on the survey?

I have printed out a portion as a PDF - see attached to see if this is the result that you would want.
