Is there a way to override the text in dimensions so I can rotate just the text? I have a rotated viewport on a few sheets. I have already rotated the other text in the view, but there is no "keep readable" button to override in the dimensions... help!

Look at your text setup options under settings/annotations/dimensions

Ok.... I did... still nothing that will essentially let me place text upside down in a view, but that will look correct on the sheet. The only options are up left, up right, right up, and left up.... I guess I need an option that says down.

I don't understand. Revit automatically will rotate dimensions when you rotate a view to place it on a sheet. Did you rotate your sheet instead? If so - don't do that.

No I rotated the viewport, not the sheet itself. The viewport is rotated 90 deg. counter clockwise to fit on the sheet better. When I do that the text in some dimensions looks like its upside down. I need to rotate the text, but Revit is fighting it.

You activated the view - picked the crop window and rotated that? Correct?

No. I placed the view on the sheet. Selected the vieport, and in the properties of that viewport, I picked rotate counterclockwise 90 deg.
