I was attempting to install revit on a msi wind netbook 2 GB of memory. , Unfortunately the MSI wind has only 600 vertical lines of resolution vs the normal 700+. When trying the installation the "next", "cancel" buttons were below the 600 lines of resolution, thus could not be seen. There is no way to scroll down or reduce the size of the installation panel. I've tried connecting it to a monitor, but only the 600- lines are reproduced and the the installation screen cannot be reduced in size. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I'd love to be able to carry my revit loaded netbook on a job site. Thanks.

1. Haven't tried this with an installer screen, but try this: Right-click on the application in the Windows Taskbar and select MOVE. Use your arrow keys to move the screen up and press ENTER. 2. Usually the TAB key will cycle through the buttons and fields. Sometimes you can also hit the 'N' key for Next. Depends on the installer software. 3. You could also use an installation packager to re-package into an automated install.

the right-clicking did nothing, as did trying the arrow keys. Fortunately hitting the "n" does work, but since you cannot see the lower portion of the installation screen to view the options you have to intuitively know what the option are. I'll chime back in, once the installation is completed. Thanks

This is what I meant about Right-Click and Move. See attached image. Maybe the OS is different on the Netbook. Now that I think about it though, if you have problems with the install window, it would lead me to think you'll have the same problem as far as screen size when trying to run Revit. Still, it would be interesting to try.
