this is probably easy as sin and has been discussed before, but how do i warp/undulate a roof? i've tried using the modify tool in the options bar and moving the points up and down, but i can only seem to get the roof to triangulate rather than warp. am i missing something? help much needed, thank you!

thanks for the lovely tutorial. i can definitely use that in the future. to clarify, what i'm currently working on is sloping a complex roof to drain. an example, i have an area of the roof where i'm not too sure how to slope the roof without having revit create new valleys. why doesn't it curve or "warp" if it has more than four points or sides to a roof? please see attached of a warped roof. in the second attachment on the left side, i have a plan view of where i want the roof sloped to drain. on the right, when i give a height of 1'-0" on all sides and keep the drain area at 0'-0", revit creates new lines to accommodate the changes in height instead of creating a smooth or "warped" surface. is it at all possible to rid those extra lines created by revit??

thanks anyway typhoon. i guess i'll fake it by hiding the "Interior Edges" of the roof in the visibility overrides and drawing model/detail lines to represent the valleys or something.
