I HAVE A 4 STORY BUILDING THAT I WOULD LIKE TO ISOLATE EACH FLOOR LEVEL AND SHOW THEM IN A SEPARATE VIEW. IS THAT POSSIBLE?

Yeah, duplicate the 3D view then in each one hide what you want....

That works pretty good. except when something extends between floors. but i'll deal with it. Thank you.

If you are talking about 3D - not a 3Dview - then goto properties & turn on section box - now you have grips that you can push/pull to define your view in all directions.
