In MEP I have been having problems with grouping and visibility.  Sometimes when I create a group it is visible but then when I pull the same group in the same view from the project browser either the entire group disappears or just parts of the group will disappear.  These are all lighting fixtures.  Does anyone know a quick solution?

Perhaps some of the fixtures are hosted and when you drag from the browser onto an area where there is nothing to be hosted to, revit cannot place the objects. Does Revit ask you to "FIX" the group? If it does, that's a good indication that one or most objects needed a host.

Also, pay attention to the Options bar. It seems to default to Place on Face, and that may not be what you want.

They are being hosted.  All fixtures in the group are being placed in the model.  In plan view either none or part of these groups show up.  Once a section is made all fixutes in the group are visiable in that section.
