Hi! I'm doing a project in which I use a big space in roof because this is very high (77º of slope) and this room needs to have some windows but I can't place any. What can I do? I'm using RAC08 Thanks

Because windows are hosted families, you need a window that will host in a roof. There are skylights on this site that may meet your needs. These families have the box "keep vertical" unchecked so that they can conform to the slope. If you don't like these, you may have to build your own. If you want a regular window that stays vertical, then place a portion of wall to host it.

Yep. Skylights are the way to go. Depending on your Revit experience you can also make custom windows that are hosted by a roof, or you can open a skylight and edit it to what you want.

Mufu, I think the window you're talking about is a Velux window, if so, it was made from a .dwg file in a Generic Model family type, so what you have to do is to change it to a Window family category. Open the family file, go to settings/Family Category and Parameters... and then change to Windows (see image)...BTW-finally you're not so urgent in this post...LOL....

Why don't you "zoom" to the roof so we can see what's happen??? Urgent please....
