Hey all,

this is a new problem I've been having since we switched to Vista.  Revit family files (revit arch 2009) won't move or copy from the directory I initially download them too.  In addition, the files crash my Revit if I try to load them or open them.

Any ideas?

Hi Charleschitlin, I´ve experimented the same issue, even when I download Revit .rfa files from another sites. I have windows Vista too and this problem only happens with .rfa files on my computer....The only thing you can do is to download the "Unlocker 1.8.7." to delete them. Hope it helps you.

Thanks!

I'll try that to delete them.  The only workaround I've found is to "open" the files from Revitcity rather than "save as."  The .rfa file opens up fine and then you can "load into project."  This works without crashing.
