Is there a way to model a sloped roof with a gable end ? See attached image

jgmas, Looks like you want a shed roof. If that's the case, when sketching the roof set "defines slope" to the front part of the roof only. Then attach walls to roof. HTH, John

so if I'm understanding your sketch, you want to have a variable pitch to the side faces of your roof - is it a gable at the rear as well? If this is true, then you may need to mass your roof - using "solid blend" sketch your front gable and then your rear gable, and then select 'roof by face' to convert...
