Has anyone seen (or have to share) a room tag rfa that calculates and displays occupants per room (like for a code egress plan)? We have all seen room tags that show area  of a room. Take it a step further where you enter the area allowance per occupant and revit calculates and shows the occupants per room.

e.g. Classroom 525 SF / 20SF/occ = 27 occ

Graphically i have typically seen this as 3 numbers in a rectangle - the area on top (525SF), and the allowance (20) and occupant load (27) on the bottom.

If its out there, this would be a huge time saver.

Please dont tell me to create the family unless you are willing to explain how.

Thanks, yes I found those posts. The TomDorner and Bauhaus1919 posts from 2006 were very helpful.  i was able to get this working via the new shared parameters route...and creating a dummy column in a schedule that i manually copies over the data to the "tagged" parameter.

This was a huge time saver and very worth while.
