I have a level that does not appear in any views or the project browser. It only appears in the Plane Dialog or in element properties as a level to constrain to. I have tried everything I can to find the layer to delete it (It does not control anything). Help is appreciated

If it constrains elements then it does control something and the elements will be deleted along with the level.  Have you revealed hidden elements to try and find it?

I have unhidden everything in all elevations and the level does not appear. I do not mind losing any elements if I can find and delete this layer.

A couple of thoughts about this.  If anything was created using this leval as a plane, then even if the level is deleted, the plane will probably remain until the element that uses it is deleted.

If the level exists as a level, you should see it in the pull-down when you  click on floor plan to create anothr plan.  Otherwise, it may exist as a plane with the name Level xxx.

This did not work. I also tried clicking on the crop region for the plan for that level and asked for referring views and it came back that it "could not find referring views"

Problem solved. The level was on a workset whose visibility was turned off. Thanks for your help
