when you say can't load do you mean into the drawings or into the curtain wall?
if you are loading a curtain door or oanel that already exist in the drawings it wil not look like it's loading.
if you are trying to replace a curtain wall panel with a door, make sure you are selecting the panel, once selected go to the drop menu(next to properties) and replace with your curtain wall door. note, you cannot replace with normal doors...

Remember curtain wall doors and windows will not appear with your normal doors and windows lists...
You need to select the panel that you wish the door/window to be located then choose from the drop down menu the appropriate replacement as suggested by Eldad.
